GRANTS PROGRAM

SUPPORTING LOCAL RECREATION

The Winterfest Grant Program is a key part of our mission to help expand Waterbury recreation opportunities. First awarded in 2018, grants support a wide range of recreation-related programs and projects. Local organizations are encouraged to apply for grants up to $1,000 to support their recreational activities.

Grant funding is made possible by the participants and sponsors of Waterbury Winterfest. Winterfest thanks all for their dedicated support and invites anyone interested in getting involved to contact us for volunteer opportunities.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested applicants are asked to fill out a short form summarizing the recreation project or program, the number of people likely to benefit from the initiative, and the amount requested. Applicants must also describe how their organization will participate in the upcoming Winterfest activities should they be awarded funding.
