Grant Application – Waterbury Winterfest

WINTERFEST GRANT APPLICATION 2025

Waterbury Winterfest is inviting Waterbury area non-profit organizations to apply for grants up to $750 to improve recreation-related opportunities in the Waterbury area. Applications are due by April 30, 2025. Grant applications will be evaluated on a 25-point basis. Grant awards will be decided on May 14th and applicants will be made aware soon after.

Please explain the mission of your organization, how the grant will improve the recreational opportunities in the Waterbury area and how individuals will benefit. A proposed budget for funds received is strongly encouraged. (10 points)

How will you plan to recognize Winterfest if you were to receive a grant?*

For example, thank Winterfest in the letter to parents or Winterfest sponsors, put the Winterfest logo on uniforms or signs at events, or encourage your organization’s members and participants to attend all events of Winterfest 2026. (5 points)

How will your organization participate in Waterbury Winterfest 2026 (Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2026)*

This typically means working with the Winterfest Leadership Team to develop and lead (manage) a Winterfest event. Please be specific and realistic as this is a big driver of Winterfest success. Name, phone and email for the leader of this activity. (10 points)
