Wassailing

What: This signature Winterfest event showcases cabin fever inspired caroling, vaudeville variety, and foot-tapping entertainment by “teams” of your friends and neighbors who rotate through participating venues bringing laughter and light to our short winter days and vying for a coveted trophy awarded by “judges” comprised of local residents, public officials, and business owners.

Who: Individuals and small groups from the community. While some groups are professionals, many of us just love singing (sometimes off-key), playing music, and getting creative with lyrics. We hope you will come witness the fun, enjoy a meal or drink at one of the participating venues, and watch the performers.

When: Performers rotate through downtown venues from 6:15 – 8:00 on Thursday, February 2, 2023
The evening ends in a finale of songs and celebration of creativity and camaraderie from 8-9 PM at the American Legion.
