Broomball

This premier Waterbury Winterfest event is back live and in person after a 2 year pandemic hiatus. Parent/Child Coed Family Broomball Tournament Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Crossett Brook Middle School outdoor rink. The School will be open for folks to warm up or use the bathrooms.

Players wear their own boots/shoes, helmets. Similar to hockey but no skates needed! We provide the equipment – sticks, balls and goals. Teams should be parent-child co-ed and up to 11 players per team with a 6 player minimum. Broomball is played with 5 people and a goalie on the ice. Players and parents must sign a waiver. This is a double elimination tournament. Games will begin at 10:00 am. Captains will meet at 9:00 am.

Cost, $10 per adult, $5 per child.
To register a team, Captains pay $50.00 team minimum online. Player waivers and additional payment at Broomball event.

There is a trophy, prizes and bragging rights to be won! So gather your team for a day of fun and REGISTER by Wed Jan 25th.

**Foul weather date 2/4/23 – same time, same place (i.e rink is not appropriate for broomball participation)
