Many businesses and organizations in the area generously provide gift cards, apparel, and other merchandise for us to auction off in two annual silent auction fundraisers – one in early December and the second during Winterfest itself.
The first silent auction in December helps us raise funds to supplement cash contributions so that we can plan and put on Winterfest events in January and February. During Winterfest, fundraising from the second silent auction and event fees support our grant program.
WHAT IS A SILENT AUCTION?
A silent auction is a fundraising event where people bid in writing, using an assigned number, rather than shouting out their bids. Items vary from gift certificates, apparel, and other merchandise to destination packages and services.

Were you the winning bidder but couldn’t stick around to claim your items? No problem! You can make a secure payment HERE and pick up your winnings on December 11, 2024 between 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Steele Community Room, 28 N. Main St.
