Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons

Escape the winter blues into a realm of fantastical adventure!

Dungeons & Dragons is a game of collaborative storytelling, using dice and imagination. Join Dungeon Master Evan Hoffman and the Waterbury Public Library for an afternoon of swords and sorcery. There will be two adventure options available: infiltrating a dragon’s icy lair to steal its treasure, or exploring a winter wonderland while solving its residents’ problems.

No experience is necessary. If you’ve heard of D&D before and wondered what it’s all about, this is the perfect opportunity to try it!

Pencils, paper, and some dice will be provided, but please bring your own dice if you have them. The game is generally family-friendly, but not suitable for short attention spans – ages 13+ recommended.
