VT Candyland & Cardboard Arcade

Waterbury Winterfest invites you to join MakerSphere in the Steele Community Room to play a life-sized version of the traditional Candyland game. This is a family-friendly activity on an oversized gameboard with local sweet treats and prizes.

While you’re waiting for your turn at Candyland, MakerSphere invites you to visit the Cardboard Arcade on the other side of the room! What is a “cardboard arcade,” you ask? Check out these examples:

  

With a grant from the Vermont Community Foundation, MakerSphere invited 10 middle school students to participate in a game-making workshop. These games will debut at Winterfest!
